ILLIG launches new RedLine segment in China

Heilbronn, Germany, April 17, 2021 – ILLIG Maschinenbau launched the flexible RedLine RDF 85 thermoforming system with variable mold interface for the first time at Chinaplas 2021 in Shenzhen from April 13 to 16. The leading manufacturer of thermoforming and packaging systems focused its trade show appearance on sustainable and customer-oriented solutions.

For ILLIG, Asia's most important plastics trade fair Chinaplas at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center was a complete success. In particular, the sustainable solutions that can be technically realized with ILLIG mold and production systems and the services were the topic of the numerous technical discussions at the booth. The new RedLine RDF 85 thermoforming system attracted a great deal of attention. With its variable mold interface, it enables the use of existing molds that are already available at the customer's site, regardless of the manufacturer. The flexible RDF 85 is tailor-made for the Chinese thermoforming market and is manufactured in Europe. ILLIG presented this milestone – state-of-the-art – fully digitally as a 3D experience.

Quality and safety with ILLIG BlueLine and RedLine

The new RedLine product segment initially launched with the RDF 85 in China, comprises a series of thermoformers with an attractive price/performance ratio and differentiates itself from the well-known ILLIG BlueLine thermoforming systems. ILLIG offers the usual high quality and safety standards for both product segments. For example, ILLIG heating systems always quickly return to the safe end position in the event of a sudden drop in compressed air thanks to the built-in compressed air tank.
